Ocean Expeditions

Over the years the Waitt Foundation has maintained a dedication to supporting savvy, effective and relevant Ocean Science & Exploration Expeditions. From Historical Discovery through Archeology and now on to Conservation Biology and Marine Protected Areas, we are proud to support expeditions around the world that help bring awareness to ocean health. Whenever possible, we seek to partner directly with the governments in whose waters we explore, providing habitat, benthic, fisheries, and other data to key Ministries, Departments, and decision makers. The Waitt Foundation and our expedition partners maintain a strongly held open data policy.
